Thanks for your comment Carol! Dar does a great job, Dishing up Nutrition is a wonderful resource. We have not been posting new articles as of late, but are considering a revamp of our site to focus more on blogging and getting valuable health information out. So yes, please stay tuned!

In response to Joe's comment about quitting drinking and sugar cravings getting progressively worse, hard to say exactly why without taking a more in-depth look at diet and lifestyle. There is likely some depletion of neurotransmitters. Alcohol blocks vital receptor sites for our neurotransmitters-- neurotransmitters effect much of how we feel and are linked to cravings. My recommendation would be a VERY high nutrient dense diet, especially a focus on healthy fats to heal your cells. Try to cut the sugar out, the more you eat the more you crave.

Great article. I've stopped eating bread, rice, and pasta and feel much better. "Dishing up Nutrition" from Minneapolis has been one of my favorite podcasts. Now that I've discovered your site, I will stay tuned.
